Nourishment in Winter Time

Taoist philosophy explains that as we transition into winter, we seasonally and energetically shift from the metal element into the water element. The water element stores much of people’s reserves of energy (kidney chi). It’s why rest and a slow pace is crucial in the winter and why we can use some extra nourishment and support during these darker months. This is what our Sunday session will be all about: nourishment. Expect a delicious combination of chi exercises, yin yoga for support of our kidney chi, mantra singing and yoga nidra.

For those who would like to receive support with a small dose of plant medicine, you have the option of working with the Blue Lotus flower. Blue Lotus has a softening and deeply relaxing energy. It is a mild and gentle plant teacher that flows very well with gentle yoga practices.
